The federal government says it has called on the Nigerians in Diaspora to key into it's investment opportunities. This was disclosed by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo yesterday.
Speaking at the Third Virtual Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit convened by the Nigeria Diaspora Summit Initiative (NDSI) in collaboration with Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), he explained that the summit had Post Covid economy resurgence: targeting diaspora investment as it's theme.
Adebayo also stated that the participation of Nigerians in DIaspora will help put the nation’s economy in good shape. Also speaking at the Summit, The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, said the commission was committed to ensuring that Nigerians in Diaspora experience ease of doing business.She also revealed that some states had started providing land for Diasporans to invest and own property.
